According to a new industry survey commissioned by Honlly Telecom, 78% of telecom operators now prefer working with CPE manufacturers that offer multi-chipset portfolios spanning Qualcomm, MediaTek, ASR, and ZTE platforms.
The survey of 120 carrier procurement managers across EMEA, APAC, and Americas highlights supply chain resilience as the primary driver — 82% of respondents experienced chipset shortages in the past 24 months. Multi-chipset sourcing reduces dependency on single vendors and accelerates time-to-market.
“Honlly’s approach of maintaining concurrent Qualcomm, MediaTek, ASR, and ZTE design platforms directly addresses this industry need,” the report notes.
